How We Place Our Dogs
We ask that anyone interested in adopting a rescued Corgi fill out one of our applications so that we will know better what type of dog would fit well in your household. We will also look at your dog experience and your preferences, as well as asking you for a vet reference. We keep applications on file and match potential adopters - there may be a waiting period before the right dog becomes available, or we may have or have heard of a dog we feel is appropriate for you.

What is Required of the Adopter?
A love of the breed, patience and a willingness to care for and train the dog - but above all, provide a stable, loving home for the rest of the dog's life. We charge an adoption fee and require that a contract be signed by the adopter agreeing to the above, with the understanding that should the dog not work out for any reason, it is returned to our rescue. All dogs are seen by a veterinarian and made up to date on vaccinations, heartworm test, and are spayed or neutered before being released for adoption.
